At this time there is no definitive research on how long or even whether the virus lives on clothes. According to Kruessler Chemical (www.kruessler.com), who produces our bio-based cleaning solvent, K4, as well as all our soap and cleaning agents, all bacteria and viruses, including Covid-19, are destroyed in both of our dry cleaning and wet cleaning processes. What’s great for our customers is that the high disinfectant level used in our cleaning processes, along with elevated heat temperatures of 140-160 degrees Fahrenheit in the drying process do not allow any microorganisms to survive. We wanted to reach out and assure you we are using the utmost care in the handling of your garments. We will continue to make every effort to provide you with high quality garment care and are thankful you entrust us to properly care for all of your garments.

Spring is coming! Can you smell it? The dust, the dirt, yuk. Yuk, yuk yuk!

Time to bring out your spring jackets and get them cleaned up. You don’t want to put that dirty jacket on from last year. On your way out the door grab your comforters and your duvets as well! Not only jackets and duvets feel better when they are clean, they last longer when they are clean.

Hockey season is winding down as well. Bring in your hockey gear and we will give it back to you with a different scent than when you brought it into us with. Mmm fresh.

Bring it in to Richmond Dry Cleaners!
